Even in death, Steve Jobs’ presence remains larger than life. As the world notes his passing one year ago today, the news and social media are filled with articles and tributes comparable to the recent Presidential debate.
On Oct. 5, 2001, Apple’s homepage posted the striking image above and called out for tributes. Today, Apple posted a touching video tribute to its cofounder on its homepage today, along with a note from his successor as CEO, Tim Cook, that read, in part: “Steve’s passing one year ago today was a sad and difficult time for all of us. I hope that today everyone will reflect on his extraordinary life and the many ways he made the world a better place.”[more]
