Mercedes-Benz continues its campaign highlighting women business owners and professionals (which it launched in 2015) with the latest profiles for “She’s Mercedes”: Mette Hay, co-founder of Hay Design in Copenhagen; stylist and fashion blogger Lizzy van der Ligt in Amsterdam; and illustrator Olimpia Zagnoli in Milan.
And in another new video, Britta Seeger, Member of the Daimler AG Board of Management, responsible for Sales and Marketing Mercedes-Benz Cars, talks to Christina Mallon, digital marketer and disability advocate.
Inspired by Bertha Benz, Karl Benz’s wife and also his inspiration and business partner, “She’s Mercedes” is an ongoing effort described as:
“…an initiative dedicated to inspiring, connecting and empowering women who are driven to make things happen. The power of inspiration can create great things. She’s Mercedes is the embodiment of this idea. An inspiration circle: a place for women to connect, share ideas and experiences and learn from each other. A destination for inspiring conversations, offering new perspectives and supporting ambitions. With She’s Mercedes, we want to inspire, connect and enable women to realize their full potential.
We believe that the power of inspired minds can effect excellence. She’s Mercedes is the canvas of this idea: an Inspiration Circle; a place where women can connect and exchange ideas, share experiences and learn from one another; a hub for sparking conversation, offering new perspectives and supporting ambitions.
She’s Mercedes is a platform dedicated to inspiring, connecting and empowering women to unleash their best. She’s Mercedes consists of networking events, a print magazine and this digital hub.”
