To date I have never seen so many sportscasters on cable and on the sports radio shows talk up soccer, eh-hem, as if they knew what they were talking about. A week before the world cup games they were all saying how boring soccer is. Now they may not have grown attached to the sport as individuals, but they are talking the talk. That is a start. So I'm thankful ESPN came up to the ball and kicked a home run.
