Christian Louboutin's Trashy New Shoes

Posted by Shirley Brady on February 21, 2011 12:30 PM

Christian Louboutin's signature red-soled shoes are getting a green twist. These Ecotrash pumps from the haute French shoe and bag designer's spring/summer 2011 bear a $1095 price tag and a promise that no two will look alike because, yes, they're made from reclaimed materials.

As the brand's website notes, "Who said that being eco-conscious couldn't be sexy? This summer, our 6" inch peep toe sling back gets a little more natural. Our infamous "trash" style has returned this season for a look that is daring and fun. Please note ladies - “Ecotrash” isn’t shy about being unique, each shoe will vary in trash and no pair will look the same."
