The Return Of Hunter & the Bear

Posted by Sheila Shayon on April 13, 2012 09:57 AM

That’s Hunter and Bear's 2012 birthday party teased in the video above.

In 2010, as we reported, a Tipp-Ex ad featuring a hunter and a bear in the woods was the first interactive video ever on YouTube.

In the first season of the adventures of the Hunter & the Bear, “A hunter shoots a bear” asked viewers to "White and Rewrite THE STORY." The campaign generated more than 50 Million views on YouTube, was shared 1.2 million times on Facebook and generated 220k tweets. The viral buzz created 30% more business for the brand during the back-to-school market and garnered the campaign more than 20 international awards.

Back for a second season, it’s time to White and Rewrite HISTORY! In a new series of 46 films where the Hunter & the Bear are celebrating their birthday party at different dates in history, visitors can change the date after deleting the current date, 2012 (the end of the world), with a Tipp-Ex Mini Pocket Mouse Correction Tape. Some of the humorous films also offer interactive animations – there for the finding.

Tipp-Ex is the leader in the European Correction Products Market and a brand of the BIC Group. The campaign was created by the BUZZMAN agency.

Fans of the Hunter & the Bear can also gather on a dedicated Facebook page where the animations will be translated in four languages.

Favorite years surfacing so far include: 1980, 1989, and 2000. Check it out, white it out and leave your mark on the ad world.
