Best Buy Interim CEO Addresses Rattled Employees

In the wake of Brian Dunn's scandal-ridden resignation last week, Best Buy's interim CEO, Mike Mikan, addresses the company's 270,000 employees in a video, above, that reiterates its strategic repositioning announced in late March, in addition to emphasizing his "passion and commitment (to) defining the next generation of Best Buy."

I am stunned by this ... whoever briefed Mike and directed this video surely knew the importance of him coming across with absolute authenticity, at this critical time for Best Buys?

To my mind this needed to be a Steve Jobs styled presentation ... in other words a genuine conversation ... not a pitch ... and certainly not read from a teleprompter.
