Crocs Rocks 10th Anniversary

Posted by Mark J. Miller on May 31, 2012 11:02 AM

You’ve been seeing them around for years. Maybe you’ve even been slipping on a pair yourself. It feels like they’ve been around forever. But they haven’t. There was a world before Crocs.

However, that world is now more than a decade ago. Crocs has now turned 10, an age plenty of businesses never get to. It has also reached another number plenty of businesses never achieve: It’s a billion-dollar global brand.

To celebrate its tenth, it has just announced a “Crocs Around the World” campaign, which is bringing Crocs lovers together on a new website called, you guessed it, crocsaroundtheworld.com.

The company wants everyone to “share their favorite Crocs stories, shop for limited-edition products, and experience the brand’s evolution during the past 10 years.” There's also a list of regional events you can find your way to if you want to celebrate the big 1-0 with other Crocs-shod fans.

Once a one-shoe company, Crocs now has more than 300 different styles of shoes that can be worn all year-round, the site notes. “The Crocs Around the World site provides an opportunity for us to celebrate our 10th anniversary with those who have made our brand what it is today – our loyal consumers and partners,” said Crocs CMO Andrew Davison.
